BUNNY'S FARM

​

The fluffy rabbits are always everyone’s favourite. There are also cute and adorable guinea pigs just waiting to be stroked or cuddled. Visitors may touch and feed the rabbits! Feel free to take photos at no charge!

LONGEVITY VILLAGE

Here live the turtles, an emblem of longevity.  They are aquatic and terrestrial egg-laying reptiles, timid and shell-carrying creatures. Some say they are ugly, some say they are cute. Why don't you see them yourself?

TAPANG TREE & THE HISTORY OF MOUNT SEREMBU

Meet the oldest and tallest tree in the nearby region, the majestic Tapang Tree.

​

Understand the important history of Mount Serembu linking to the Brooke Era and its importance to the natural flora & fauna species, that is not known to most of us.

TROPICAL RAINFOREST TRAIL

The Tropical Rainforest Trail comprises of 3 routes adding up to 660 meters long. The entire trail passes through an enchanting reserved rainforest. More than 50 years ago, initial settlers planted a large number of rubber trees to harvest rubber. Since Borneo Happy Farm took over in 1999, the rainforest has remained untouched.

​

In 2016, Borneo Happy Farm also planted more than 200 trees of Borneo so that the future generations will have a chance to learn more about trees and its importance to the eco system.

​

Important notes about the trail:

- The trail is off road (non-concrete & non- wood plank trail), meaning visitors will need to walk on nature terrain of mud and soil.

- The routes are coloured by (Blue, Red and Yellow)

- Allow at least 30 minutes for the trail.

- Some parts of the route will pass through small stream and steep slopes.

- Trekkers are encouraged to wear trekking shoes.

- The plants' names and brief information are printed on boards that can be seen along the routes. 

- Educational tours on plants usage (medicinal / commercial) and guided by the farm forest guide can be hired via advance booking at 016-898 8084.

PADI VILLAGE

Here is the Hometown to the scarecrows with different types of crops grown including hill paddy, corn, Roselle, Yam and many more.

FARMER'S PARADISE

As its name tells, the Farmer’s Paradise is planted with various fruit trees and the farm's much popular pepper as well as other wild fruits and plants of Borneo. Just a friendly reminder, the fruits might not be there all year long and please do not pluck or take away the fruits  =)

MEET THE BUFFALOES

Understanding the habitat of the water buffaloes, an indispensable helper of farmers in the olden days.

The Water Buffaloes are intelligent pack animals. See how they dig their own "mud spa"! And don't miss out the daily feeding time at 1:30PM!

GEESE DUCK CHIC

This special area is the home to many geese, duck and chickens. See them wandering around for food, swimming or you might even see some flying (a short distance, of course)!

Animal feed can be bought at the ticket counter and canteen and don't miss the feeding time at 4:30pm daily

KIDDYLAND PLAYGROUND

Kiddlyland which covers more than 5,000 sq ft is a playground suitable for all ages of children.
